One way I have found to help people understand how important networking can be is to ask them if they would ever hire someone to renovate their home simply by using the phone book. Everyone always says that they usually start by asking friends and neighbors for recommendations. So, then I point out that finding the right person to hire is no different. At that point, they usually begin to see things differently.</description>
